Moorabool families will benefit from a new program designed to help young children engage in musical play.
Books and Beats is a free fortnightly program that will be held in Ballan and Bacchus Marsh from May 5.
Participants will learn from local musician Jen Hawley and play with ukuleles and percussion instruments.
The program will be held at the Ballan Library each Wednesday and Lerderderg Library in Bacchus Marsh each Thursday at 10am.
