Moorabool roads and infrastructure upgrades given the green light

A number of roads and reserves across Moorabool will be upgraded following a federal government cash injection.

Moorabool council received $1,775,796 under round two of the government’s local roads and community infrastructure program.

At a meeting last night, council approved the endorsement of allocating the program grant funds to several nominated road and community infrastructure projects. The projects include:

Dunnstown Township roundabout upgrades;

Bradys Lane carpark formalisation;

Hopetoun Park Road resurfacing.

Mill Park Street Road, Ballan, upgrade ;

Jonathan Drive footpath construction in Bacchus Marsh;

Egans Reserve upgrades;

Mill Park Reserve upgrades;

Peppertree Park Reserve upgrades;

Gordon Public Park upgrades; and

Maddingley Park netball court resurfacing.

The local roads and community infrastructure program supports councils to carry out local road and community infrastructure projects which supports local jobs and the local economy to help communities recover from the pandemic.
