Melton will be getting the silver screen treatment very soon.
An episode of Postcards, in which celebrity chef and host Shane Delia heads west to see what is on offer, will air on Sunday, June 16, at 5.30pm.
The visit will include stops at Latin Foods and Wines, The Melton Men’s Shed, and Hannah Watts Park.
Mr Delia will talk with team leader Paul from the Men’s Shed to learn more about the program, providing an exciting opportunity for the Men’s Shed to showcase the work they do and attract more members.
Following this, Mr Delia will then head back into town for a bite to eat, which will be provided by Latin Foods and Wines.
Meeting with husband and wife Marco and Maria De La Plaza, who own and operate the restaurant as a team, tasty traditional Chilean dishes will be not only shown off but eaten.
Using his background in the kitchen, Mr Delia will join Mr De La Plaza in the kitchen to make some traditional Chilean empanadas.
