Melton’s pupils will show off some fancy footwork and groovy moves at Hisense Arena next month.

Melton West Primary School pupils will take part in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular, joining their peers from all over the state for a musical song and dance extravaganza.

Participating schools in the west-metro region have been rehearsing at Essendon Keilor College for the past few months.

College production teacher Blair Harbrow said the children enjoyed mingling with each other and meeting people from other schools.

“Younger kids can be quite timid, but you can see them getting up and showing their skills to each other,” Ms Harbrow said.

“This is an amazing opportunity for the kids. It gives them a great platform, especially for those who’ve got exceptional talent.”

The show is on Saturday, September 12, 1-6.30pm. Tickets: $44 adults, $33 concession, $22 for children under 15.
