Two Melton men and two Sunbury women have been arrested following a six-month investigationĀ over damages to 40 myki ticket machines across the state.
Police from the Transit Divisional Response Unit arrested the two men, aged 37 and 38, and the two women, aged 23 and 46, on Tuesday morning.
The 38-year-old was charged with more than 120 counts of theft, criminal damage and going equipped to steal. He was scheduled to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court today for a remand hearing.
The 37-year-old was charged with possessing a drug of dependence and breach of bail. He was to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates Court today for a remand hearing.
The 23-year old is expected to be charged on summons with possessing a drug of dependence while the 46-year-old was released without charge, pending further inquiries.
