A 29-year-old Wendouree man has been charged after undergoing a crime spree throughout Ballarat and Ballan on the morning of Sunday, March 20.
After stealing multiple vehicles in Ballarat, the man proceeded to steal another vehicle on the Western Highway in Ballan about 6am.
Police were alerted to the crime with reports of erratic driving occurring throughout the Ballan area later that morning.
The man was arrested on Old Geelong Road in Ballan after police deployed a tyre deflation device in order to immobilise the vehicle.
He has been charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft and is due to appear before Ballarat Magistrates Court today.
The stolen vehicles were recovered in separate locations in Ballan.
