A 28-year-old Melton man has been charged with serious assault and firearms-related offences following a non-fatal shooting in Melton West earlier this month.
Emergency services were called to Coburns Road about 11pm on Sunday, October 15 after a 27-year-old Melton West man was found in a car with a gunshot wound to his lower body.
Two men were arrested in relation to the incident yesterday afternoon.
A 22-year-old Melton man was charged with firearms-related offences in regards to a separate matter.
Both men faced an out of sessions hearing this morning and have been remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.
