Lynda’s Hampers hampered by shortage

John and Lynda Southall are on a mission to make everyone’s Christmas a joy … but they need your help.

The Melton South couple have been running Lynda’s Hampers for five years and have donated thousands of goods to the town’s people in need.

But less than three weeks before Christmas, the couple have run out of hampers, which include food and other goods, to donate.

Mr Southall is hoping the community will pitch in. “We’re after food items and toys,” he says. “Toys have been our biggest problem this year … but they’re so important for young children. There’s a little girl around the corner painting old car tyres to play with.”

To help out the Southalls, see Lynda’s Hampers Incorporated on Facebook or call 9746 9549.
