Local Bacchus Marsh and Ballan musicians will be entertaining locals at Rotunda sessions this month.

Presented by Moorabool Live and Local, rotunda sessions start today in Ballan at the Mclean Reserve where locals can grab a coffee or set up a picnic with friends and family to enjoy the live music.

Ballan based solo artist Breckin will be performing from 10am this morning until 11am.

Then from 11am until 1pm, folk trio from Blackwood, Honeyfields, will be taking the stage.

The council’s event page said: “Honeyfields may look familiar but their interpretations of old and new songs are refreshing, original, and steeped in the Australian folk music culture they grew up with. A new project from The Beenies girls, the trio are back performing vocal and instrumental music at its finest”.

The live rotunda sessions will be continuing next Saturday December 18 and finishing on Friday December 24.
