Latest COVID-19 data for Melton, Moorabool

The number of new COVID-19 cases recorded in Melton and Moorabool has decreased, although Melton remains in the top five local government areas (LGAs) for new cases, new data reveals.

According to new data from the department of health, Melton recorded 430 new cases in the last 24 hours to Monday January 17, bringing the total number of active cases to 4512.

Moorabool recorded 54 new cases, making the total number of active cases 314.

Melton postcode 3338 – which includes Brookfield, Exford, Eynesbury, Melton South – remains the most infected Melton postcode with 112 new cases recorded today.

The 3337 postcode – which includes Kurunjang, Melton, Melton West, Toolern Vale – recorded 88 new cases today.

Moorabool postcode 3340 – which includes Bacchus Marsh, Balliang, Balliang East, Coimadai, Darley, Glenmore, Hopetoun Park, Long Forest, Maddingley, Merrimu, Parwan, Rowsley, Staughton Vale – recorded 37 new cases.
