Storage King Melton has turned pink for the month, with its annual fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation in full swing.
As part of a nationwide campaign from Storage King, the store has a variety of items for sale to go towards the work of the McGrath Foudation, and is donating $1 from every tea chest box sold to the cause.
Store manager Sally Gardner said they were proud to raise funds for a cause that helped so many people.
“We’ve been doing this for years, every October every store in Australia gets behind this cause,” Ms Gardner said.
“Storage King has a close relationship with the McGrath Foundation who do such great work with breast cancer nurses and families living with cancer.
“We’ve already sold half of our tea chest boxes, and lots of people have bought wrist bands and badges, so the response early in the month has been really good.
“Everyone’s been touched by cancer at some time in their life,” she said.
“Whether it’s a friend or a family member, and McGrath Foundation provide such a good support network for families and help out with the nurses.”
Storage King Melton will be raising funds until the end of the month.
