Melton’s new Cobblebank Stadium will hold an expo for local job seekers looking for a new career next Tuesday February 8.
An initiative by The Exchange – Atherstone (Lendlease), the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Expo is a free event for Melton and Wyndham residents who are aspiring to start a new career where they can be part of the region’s future growth.
Project Coordinator for The Exchange Kristie Dawe said the expo supports the expansion of local business and the economic independence of local residents.
“The Western corridor [Melton and Wyndham Councils] is one of the fastest growing municipalities in the country and has seen a huge surge in residents and business growth,” Ms Dawe said.
“This is an incredible opportunity for local residents of all ages to connect with industry professionals and discover paid apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities in the region.
“Locals can also tap into mentoring and support from registered training and career organisations who can help build people’s skills and confidence.”
