Moorabool residents got into the swing of things to mark International Women’s Day with a yoga class organised by council.
Held at Lerderderg Library the introduction session was free and open to adults 18 and over.
Moorabool has also been celebrating International Women’s Day by showcasing female artists at Ballan and Lerderderg libraries with displays of the works of local artist Kerry Rastas.
On March 10, council will lead a ‘The science of female superheroes’ workshop for young girls aged seven and over, also at Lerderderg Library.
Council’s final event will be a drive-in movie screening of Ride Like a Girl on Friday March 11.
