Moorabool boys Samuel, 12, Aarav, 7, and Vansh, 5, travelled to more places and met more people than almost anyone their ages these summer holidays.
As part of Moorabool council’s summer reading program, the boys immersed themselves in books from their local libraries for a taste of other worlds and dimensions.
The program encouraged pre-school, primary and secondary students to continue their reading throughout the summer holiday.
Samuel took home a $150 book voucher, Aarav a smart watch and Vansh a digital camera after winning their categories.
Moorabool mayor Allan Comrie said: “A love of reading is a habit we should all possess.”
