Hot soup and fresh bread sounds like a good idea as winter kicks in.
The Darley Community Art Garden’s members certainly think so – they will hold a workshop about making soup and sourdough bread next weekend.
The garden’s Sarah Anderson said: “The wood-fired oven [for the bread] will be hot all day and into the evening.
“People are welcome to bring any other food they’d like to bake or roast in the wood oven, or just come along to warm their hands by the fire and see what Darley Community Art Garden is all about.”
The workshop, at Holts Lane, Darley, on Saturday, June 18, will start at 2pm and entry costs $5.
