Police are investigating a fatal crash in Diggers Rest early Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to Plumpton Road about midnight following reports a car with two occupants had struck a pole.
A 22-year old Hillside woman died at the scene while a 22-year-old Hillside woman was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.
