High Street bridge to close for three weeks

Upgrades on Melton’s High Street bridge will see the eastern section of the road closed for the next three weeks.

Lanes in both directions, between Melton Valley Drive and Yuille Street, will be closed from 7am, Friday, February 12 to 7am Friday, March 4.

Drivers are encouraged to plan their journey in advance and use alternate routes via the Western Highway, Melton Valley Drive, Federation Drive and Yuille Street.

The upgrades are part of the federal government’s Bridges Renewal Programme.
