Harkness home invasion

Victoria Police is investigating a home invasion that occurred in Harkness in late March.

Police understand 11 unknown offenders attended a property on Claret Ash Boulevard in three stolen vehicles at about 3.25am on March 30.

The offenders used a number of weapons to smash through windows and doors at the property.

Once inside, they caused significant damage throughout the house.

Fortunately, the homeowners were not inside the house at the time of the incident.

Investigators have released an image of a group of people who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

They are described as youths wearing gloves, masks, black clothing and carrying machetes, shovels, poles, metal bars and bats.

The stolen vehicles have since been recovered by police.
