Growing fears for missing Melton schoolgirl

There are growing concerns for the safety of a Melton schoolgirl who’s been missing since last Thursday.

Nashra Kowa was last seen when she was dropped off at Catholic Regional College in Melton West about 8am on April 27.

She was wearing her school uniform, but police believe she may have since changed clothes. She may be carrying a large black, red and yellow ‘Mick’s Gym’ duffle bag.

The 18-year-old is perceived to be of African appearance, 157 centimetres tall with large build and long, black, braided hair.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Melton police station on 9747 7999.
