Applications are now open for this year’s Change Our Game Community Activation Grants Program, a program supporting sporting clubs and organisations to encourage and foster female participation.
Now in its eight year, grants of up to $10,000 are up for community sport and recreation clubs to help inspire women and girls to take part.
Grants can be used to help fund new women’s programs, hosting a women’s round, as well as opportunities for club leadership roles.
Melton MP Steve Mcghie said: “The Change Our Game Community Activation Grants program is a fantastic opportunity for our Melton community sport and active recreation clubs to showcase the important roles women and girls play and deserve”.
“I encourage all eligible organisations to consider applying.”
Change Our Game Community Activation Grants Program has provided more than $2.9 million towards 580 grants to sport and active recreation clubs and organisations across the state.
Applications for this program close at 5pm, Wednesday, February 26.
