Police have issued further murder charges as part of their investigation into the deaths of two children in Cobblebank last year.
The charges follow two incidents in Cobblebank on Saturday 6 September which resulted in the deaths of a 15-year-old Dau Akueng and 12-year-old Chol Achiek.
Emergency services were initially called shortly before 8pm following reports two children had been fatally injured.
Chol was subsequently located on Marble Drive while Dau was located on Cobble Street.
Both boys received assistance from members of the public before dying at the scene.
Police charged eight people in September as part of their investigation, with a Thornhill Park man and four teenage boys initially charged over the murder of Dau.
A Caroline Springs man, a Wollert man and a teenage boy were initially charged with the murder of Chol.
All eight people have now been charged with both murders and remain in custody to appear in court at a later date.
