Put February 26 on the calendar – the Toolern Vale and District Primary School’s family fun night is too much fun to miss.
In its fifth year, the fundraising event seems to get bigger and better every time, co-organiser Rebecca Birtles says.
“It’s an annual event we have at the start of every year.
“Basically, it’s a way for parents to get together with their kids and other families, especially new parents and foundation children’s parents.
“It’s a way for us to welcome them into the school.”
The money raised from the event will be used to buy new school equipment, including books and sports gear.
Ms Birtles has extended an invitation to all Toolern Vale families to come to the school for a fun-filled evening and enjoy the activities, which will feature sideshow clowns, CFA trucks, Aussie farmers, jumping castles, showbags and face painting.
