A Melton pet store is giving free dental checks for all the municipality’s cats, dogs and bunnies to help raise awareness of the importance of oral attention.
August is the Australian Veterinary Association’s pet dental month, and Best Friends Pet Care SuperCentre Melton is showing its support.
“Our four-pawed family members are so vulnerable when it comes to oral care because it’s up to us, as pet owners, to identify the problem and help find the solution,” lead veterinarian Dr Nick Emerton said.
“This month is a good opportunity as the check is free for the entire month.”
The dental checks will be at the Best Friends store at 72-84 High Street, Melton.
