There’s a new way to explore the wonders of the local botanic garden and it’s perfect for rainy days.
The Friends of the Melton Botanic Garden have released an online Garden Explorer, allowing residents to search for plants, garden features and more.
The explorer can be accessed via a computer or mobile device from the comfort of home.
The tool will continue to be updated and expanded, with more photos and information continuously added from the botanic database.
Users will also be able to explore self-guided and seasonal tours.
The interactive map helps to identify plants, with capacity to search by common or scientific names, as well as the location of garden facilities and amenities.
