A man has died after a car and truck collided on Ballan-Daylesford Road just before 3pm today.
The man, who was the sole occupant of the car, died at the scene.
The male truck driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Ballan-Daylesford Road is closed in both directions.
The death brings the state road toll to 257 – 31 more than at the same time last year.
