Drive-by shooting at Melton

A family, including three young children, was sleeping when their Melton house was peppered with bullets in a drive-by shooting last month.

A number of shots were fired into the Westlake Drive house about 2am on Saturday, February 18. No one was injured.

Police believe the incident was a case of mistaken identity and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Police are hoping to speak with anyone who might have seen a motorbike, which appeared to be travelling in company with a V8-sounding vehicle, in the area at that time.
