Thousands enjoy Djerriwarrh festival

Thousands of festival-goers enjoyed sun, fun and games at the weekend.

The annual Djerriwarrh Festival, in its 36th year, was a hit once again. From the much-loved street parade to the rides and expos, there was something to please the young and the old.

The festival kicked off at 11am on Saturday with a street parade, which made its way down High Street to the Melton Recreation Reserve, and ended with a fireworks show about 10pm.
