Melton and Moorabool youngsters are making the most of the region’s outdoor pools and aquatic centres with temperatures soaring into the 30s this week. Abbey (pictured) made a splash at Melton Waves where the pools have been packed with swimmers eager to cool off. Bacchus Marsh and Ballan outdoor pools are expected to be open between 11am and 7pm until Friday while the mercury is above 26 degrees. Details:
