Melton police received numerous calls this morning for a suspicious man and a vehicle parked at Lozzert Reserve on Greigs Road in Weir Views.
It is believed the 31-year-old from Diggers Rest required medical attention after speaking with police and was taken to hospital for observation.
Upon searching his vehicle, it is alleged police found a substantial amount of cash as well as a quantity of the drug gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB).
In a post on Facebook, police said they will interview the man at a later date for alleged possession of a drug of dependence and commit an indictable offence whilst on bail.
