Developers unveil Eynesbury bid

A pair of developers have big plans for Eynesbury – more housing and enhanced road links between the township and Wyndham.

Resimax Group announced last week it would embark on a joint venture with Hyde Property Group on a 218-hectare parcel of land in Eynesbury.

Resimax director Ozzie Kheir said he hoped development of the land would shape the entire township and fast-track the development of Green Hill and Mt Mary roads and connections from Eynesbury to Wyndham.

“Eynesbury is one of the most exciting developments in Australia, both in terms of its scale and potential end use – the opportunities are endless,” Mr Khier said.

“When you visit Eynesbury you can’t help but fall in love with the place … from the protected native vegetation that sprawls the estate, the 18-hole professional golf course and the heritage bluestone homestead with cosy fireplaces, you instantly feel at home.

“In years to come, I have no doubt Eynesbury will be known as a premium housing estate with a great community and we look forward to working closely with the existing Eynesbury community to re-invigorate the township and open up the unique Eynesbury lifestyle to a whole new group of residents.”

Russell Jackson, chief of Hyde Property Group, said the township had enormous potential and he hoped that the joint venture would “ramp up delivery of key infrastructure” and improve connectivity for Melton.

Melton planning services manager Bob Baggio said future development by the joint venture would require new planning permits and council had not yet received any.

Eynesbury is currently home to 2400 residents.
