Police are investigating after a person was found deceased following a house fire in Melton West on Sunday.
Emergency services responded to reports of a house fire on Gloucester Way about 11.45pm.
After the fire was extinguished, a person was located deceased at the property.
A crime scene has been established and an arson chemist will attend the scene this morning.
At this stage investigators believe that the fire is non-suspicious.
The investigation remains ongoing.
