A woman was left with critical injuries following a house fire in Melton South on the morning of Wednesday 7 January.
Emergency services were called to a property on Flinders Road just after 6am following reports of a fire.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s and the sole occupant of the home, was found injured out the front of the property.
She was airlifted to hospital for treatment.
Police said investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire, with local officers and detectives remaining at the scene.
The Arson and Explosives Squad has been notified and will assist with the investigation.
