A child and a man have been taken to hospital after an assault at a home in Kurunjang this morning.
Emergency services were called shortly before 8:30am to an address in Parkleigh Drive after reports of two injured people.
The man was flown to hospital in a critical condition while the young child was taken in an ambulance with minor injuries, according to Ambulance Victoria.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said the man was under hospital guard while officers investigate the assault.
Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
