PETstock is holding its annual microchipping blitz for your furry friends.
Charging a $10 flat-fee to microchip dogs, cats and other small animals, the aim of the blitz is to increase the number of microchipped pets.
PETstock Microchip Blitz national project manager Christine Robertson said it could cost up to $80 to microchip pets.
“Losing a pet is traumatic, however microchipping provides a level of protection and peace of mind that their beloved pet can be returned to them,” Ms Robertson said.
“Once microchipped, pets can be tracked down online or through the local vet, however keeping your registration contact details updated is a must.”
The discounted microchipping will be available at the Bacchus Marsh PETstock, 216 Main Street, and the Melton store at 77 High Street on October 20 and 21. Appointments are essential.
