Melton residents can expect Carols by Candlelight to look a little different this year, with the event being held via livestream on December 16.
Santa and Mrs Claus are due to make an appearance, with a full orchestra, choir and singers performing carols.
The council will also put on a competition that will run throughout the show for two residents to win a Zoom call with Santa.
Mayor Goran Kesic said the event was a great way for local residents to welcome the festive season.
“We’ve prepared a spectacular show that truly celebrates the magic and meaning of Christmas, and I’m excited for local families to watch the concert,” Cr Kesic said.
“Carols by Candlelight is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a very special time of year with our whole community.
“We are doing things a little differently this year, and I encourage you all to bring your best signing voices to this online event and join in the fun with your family, friends, and neighbours.”
