Job seekers have more opportunities to connect with potential employers through a job fair designed to help out communities of the western suburbs.
CS Square shopping centre in Caroline Springs is holding a jobs fair on August 25, partnering with Jobs Victoria and Melton council to help job seekers put their best foot forward.
The job fair will bring together retailers who are currently hiring and people seeking employment, facilitating job interviews with businesses such as Kmart, Woolworths and The Coffee Club.
Job services will be at the centre to provide support in the lead up to the event on August 19 from 3pm and August 20 from 10am.
The job fair will take place on August 25 from 4:30pm, outside Woolworths.
CS Square centre manager Jenni Buller said connecting retailers with active job seekers in the area helped take some of the pressure off business owners and allowed them to spend more time focusing on running their business.
“We want to make sure we’re not only giving job seekers the opportunity to meet with retailers who are hiring but also ensuring they put their best foot forward when it comes to interview time.”
