Tube socks, scrunchies, neon colours, blue eyeshadow and big hair will be the dress code for partygoers next month.
The Big 80s Party is rolling into St Anne’s Winery in Myrniong on April 14 featuring some of the region’s best wine, food, music, movies and madness from the era.
DJ Jaki J will lead a line-up of entertainers at the festival which incorporates the era’s best snippets of movies, news, fashion, dances and tributes played on an open air cinema screen followed by a Video Hits Massaoke party.
Party director Amy Booth said there is no other festival like The Big 80’s Party.
“Sure you can bring your picnic rugs and chairs, but I can guarantee you won’t spend much time sitting down,” Ms Booth said.
Party people are encouraged to dress in ’80s costume and prizes will be awarded.
