Ballan Police issue warning after teenage girl approached

BALLAN Police are warning the community over an incident where a 14-year-old girls was approached by an unknown man on July 17 at 2pm.

Police have been informed that the girl was approached in Fisken Street as she was walking towards the railway station in a downpour.

The man, who was wearing a grey beanie and driving a grey coloured sedan offered to give the girl a lift and to buy her an umbrella.

The girl’s family has spoken to police about the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
