Love is certainly in the air at Djerriwarrh Health Services with nine babies born within a 48-hour period earlier this month.
The mini-boom at Bacchus Marsh and Melton Regional Hospital began in the early evening of February 13 and only quietened down in the morning of February 15.
Maternity manager Pauline Carrache said each of the babies were precious additions to their families.
“It’s very busy, but lovely to see,” Ms Carrache said.
She said that 60 babies were born at the hospital in December – the highest number since 2015 – and another 48 are expected to be born next month.
