Council services and facility hours across Melton will change over the Australia Day public holiday on Monday 26 January.
Council civic centres and offices will be closed for the public holiday, along with Melton and Caroline Springs libraries and the local animal pound.
A council ranger will remain on call for urgent animal management issues and can be contacted via council’s 24-hour phone service on 9747 7200.
Leisure centre access will be limited, with Caroline Springs Indoor Stadium and Cobblebank Indoor Stadium both closed.
Melton Waves will be open for swimmers, operating from 8am to 6pm.
The Melton Recycling Facility (MRF) at 33 Ferris Road, Melton South, will remain open from 8am to 4.30pm and kerbside bin collections will continue as normal, with no changes to regular pickup schedules.
