“What an incredible week it has been for all of us at Western Region Health, as we share a journey that has led us to a momentous achievement: winning the prestigious title of ’Melton Business of the Year 2023.’ It’s a win that fills my heart with immense pride and gratitude.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend the event in person, but a huge highlight was Shane Jacobson surprising me via facetime so I could celebrate on stage with the team. This award is shared by all of us; an extraordinary team and a community that has rallied behind us for over two decades.

Western Region Health is more than a business; it’s a family. This recognition isn’t just a reflection of my vision, it’s a tribute to the unwavering dedication and hard work of every member of our remarkable team. They’ve been by my side through thick and thin, sharing in the dream of redefining healthcare. This award is a nod to every early morning, every late night, and every smile they’ve brought to our patients.

I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the event organizers, sponsors, and the council for hosting an event of this magnitude. To my fellow finalists, your incredible work has been a constant source of inspiration.

But the most profound gratitude goes to our extraordinary patients. Many have been part of our journey from the very beginning. They are not just patients; they are the heartbeat of Western Region Health. This award belongs to them as much as it does to us. It is their trust, support, and shared commitment to better health that has brought us to this pinnacle.

This award marks a significant milestone, but it’s not the end of our journey; it’s a new beginning. As we move forward, we carry the lessons of the past, the dedication of our team, and the trust of our community. Our commitment to excellence in healthcare is unwavering, and we will continue this as we embark on the new development and Health & Wellness Hub at 154-156 Coburns Rd.

So, to Melton, I say thank you for being an integral part of our story. Together, we’ve achieved something extraordinary, and as we step into a new chapter, Western Region Health is excited about the endless possibilities ahead.

This award is a symbol of our collective dedication, and it’s a promise that we will continue to serve our community with the same passion, commitment, and heart that brought us here.

Thank you for believing in us, and here’s to a future filled with compassionate care and shared success.“
