A grow glow for Melton South Primary School

Green thumbs Jordan, Maggie and Seth spent last month planting fruit trees and greening Melton South Primary School.

The grade 4 pupils were taking part in a Coles Helping Hands program to help reinvigorate the school yard.

Coles Melton Station Square manager Richard Farrugia said staff and students planted fruit trees in wooden crates. He said the store also donated $1000 worth of Coles gift cards to the school’s breakfast program.

“We always love getting together to support a local cause and hope our efforts make a real difference,” he said.
