School is winding down for the year, and Melton South Primary School pupils let loose at their annual school fete last week.
Pupils and their families raised more than $2000 for a new shade sail and a PA system for the school gym.
Year 6 technology teacher Donna Teven said the fete had been supported by the whole school community and helped encourage positive relationships between parents and staff.
“The fete was a great success,” she said. “The parents and carers of our students were welcomed, allowing them the opportunity to enjoy a fun day with their family.
“This is one of many school fetes we’ve had over the years and they are always so much fun – the kids love them.”
Ms Teven said pupils slurped down slushies, snacked on pancakes, ice-creams, fairy floss and popcorn, wound through an obstacle course, posed in a photo booth and decorated biscuits.
