Police are appealing for help to find Lance Edmonds (below).
The 29-year-old Melton man is wanted for questioning in relation to an alleged aggravated burglary and assault committed in Melton West on Tuesday, February 10.
A warrant for his arrest has been issued.
Investigators believe Edmonds is driving a green Holden Commodore station wagon.
He is known to frequent Deer Park, Werribee and Laverton.
He is described as being of Islander appearance, with dark short brown hair and tanned skin. Edmonds is about 175cm tall and weighs about 75kg.
He has a distinctive tribal tattoo on his left arm, which stretches up to his left ear.
