Wildlife rescuer Donna is Moorabool’s citizen of the year

Moorabool’s Donna Zabinskas was recognised as citizen of the year for her work in creating wildlife rescue organisation BADGAR.

Youth recipient Matthew Prince has worked hard to change the lives of young Moorabool residents, founding a business that helps with people’s well-being and self-esteem.

The Moorabool community event of the year is the Great War Centenary: Bacchus Marsh Remembers, which re-enacts the departure of WWI volunteers.
