Police are urging Melton residents to keep an eye out for thieves stealing from letterboxes.
Offenders often use the personal details they obtain from the thefts to commit fraud.
Last week, a 36-year-old South Australian man was arrested in relation to mail theft in Melton.
Police seized seven fake drivers’ licences – each licence contained his photograph but the name and other personal details of people from the eastern suburbs.
