Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Melton last Sunday.
A 2005 Holden Commodore was travelling north on Coburns Road before it collided with a blue 2000 Hyundai Lantra, which had been travelling east on Barries Road just before 3pm on October 26.
A 51-year-old Melton West man died in the crash.
Sergeant Darren Williams from the Major Criminal Investigation Unit said that even the smallest detail from the public “could be the last piece of the jigsaw”.
“We’ve been told that there may have been a vehicle driving in close proximity to the Commodore prior to the crash and we’re hoping to identify and speak to that driver.”
Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
