Melton South Primary School pupils tell their toy stories

Dolls, puppets, Lego, robots and toys galore were on display last week at Melton South Primary School’s toy exhibition.

Classrooms were transformed into museums as pupils’ favourite toys took pride of place. Rileigh (pictured) and her fellow grade 2 classmates wrote descriptions about their favourite toys during the term then shared them with the school community at an event last Friday.

Grade 2 teacher Heidi Clayton said the pupils were excited to be part of the exhibition, which she hoped would foster pupils’ imaginations and help their development.

The exhibition was held as part of the grade 2 integrated studies unit, which looked at how toys were made and how toys had changed over time.
