A Melton mother is using her business skills to help out the local community and encourages other residents to follow suit.
Jo McLinden is an ENJO consultant and has spent more than a decade offering parts or all of her commission to local and international charities, victims of family violence, the McGrath Foundation and the Cancer Council.
And if she can’t offer financial assistance the mum of two is organising events like the Biggest Morning Tea and tea towel runs.
“I like to donate to causes but can’t always give financially so I try other avenues … I encourage the rest of my team to do the same.”
The super mum said other mothers should realise their full potential in whatever career they choose and know that there is always room to help out the community.
