Merrimu Services will open the doors of its three sites this Saturday, giving Melton and Moorabool residents and community groups a chance to learn more about the programs provided by the disability support organisation.
Merrimu supports adults with a physical, sensory or intellectual disability, including those with complex support needs, acquired injuries or autism.
“We have 150 people and have had upwards of 10 people join this year,” facilitation manager Ashleigh Dodd said.
“We want to get more people in the community aware of what we do.” Merrimu’s program activity centre in Bacchus Marsh will be open from 10am-3pm.
The service’s Bacchus Marsh homewares store, Christabelle’s, and the new Melton hub will be open from 10am to midday.
